Mrs. Sloan and James: I am so sorry for your loss. Barb was the kindest person you could ever meet. She was an important part of every Rush-Henrietta sports team that she took safely every night to and from our games. We especially felt she was a part of our Championship Season in 1972. I last saw her two years ago and though it had been years she still had that wonderful sparkle in her eyes. I know I can speak for my entire team, she was a special person who will be truely missed. Barb, Thank you for your years of kindness!! You helped so many without expecting anything in return......

I have many great memories of Barb.She was so positive about everything.There was nothing she couldnt do.She always made the ride to school so interesting with the stories she had to tell.I enjoyed dining with her at the many chicken BBQs.She allowed my children to enjoy many experiences they would have never gotten the chance to enjoy.Like swimming at Marcus park and playing racketball.The many Memorial Day parades that they rode in her convertable (that she was so proud of).There are so many other fond memories way to many to write.But, My children will never forget their dear friend. I will never forget my dog waiting at the end of the driveway for Barb to drive the bus past.She knew a cookie was waiting for her.I dont think there was a dog in this world that did not like Barb. I will truly miss my dear friend.Thank You for all the wonderful memories.You will never be forgotten.

Barbara will always be remembered by me. I worked in Recreation with her and also she worked at the Center near my home. We both had dogs named Ginger and she was very good to them. She was a dedicated worker and a good person.

Barb there is so much i can say about her all great things i remember the first day of kindergarten riding her bus home the story's she told on the bus ride i will never forget those and the contest we had to see who knew the most states names ill never forget the rides in her green mustang convertible in the summer going to the stock car races and to play raquetball and basketball and out to dinner she always knew how to put a smile on anyones face she was the best friend anyone could ever hope for and she will greatly be missed but she will always be in my heart i will never forget her rest in peace Barb you will never be forgotten

I was saddened to see in the newspaper today that "Barb the Bus Driver" passed away. About 25 years ago, she was my elementary school bus driver for many years. I had the privilege of working with Barbara at the Brighton High Pool many years ago. She was a wonderful person who contributed so much to so many people and in so many different ways. Surely our world is better for Barbara’s having been among us. What a rich legacy she has left behind by giving so generously of herself to so many . I send my heartfelt sympathy to her family and to the many others who will mourn her passing.
