To Gary's family: I am so very sorry, so shocked, to learn of Gary's sudden illness and death. I knew Gary for a number of years through my job as librarian at Batavia High School. I called him a lot (!) for technical assistance and he was always very helpful, very patient, courteous, knowledgeable. And occasionally, when he came to my library to ""fix something,"" and we had some time to talk, he'd tell me about his kids, his pet(s), the new house--and in telling these personal stories he would chuckle in that way he had. I liked Gary very much. I will greatly miss him! I am so very sorry for your tragic loss.
