Her smile was always in place no matter what was happening. She had the ability to make you feel better in an instance and was always there with a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen with. She was very loved and will be missed greatly.

Alina, I still cannot believe your really gone. Your RGH family will miss you dearly. I can't express what a wonderful nurse, mentor and friend you were. I can't keep track of the countless amount of hours you "roped" me into working! I will miss your cake balls too, should have wrote that recipe down one of the many times you told it to me! I met Alina a few times through my daughter Siobhan, a former co-worker at RGH. Alina was in Siobhan's wedding. I wish the term "best man" could be used for the female part at these weddings, because Alina really was the "Best Woman." She was an amazing friend, mentor, and "best woman" to Siobhan and I am grateful for that. Her smile was infectous and I liked her immediately upon meeting her. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time and in the months ahead as healing begins.

Alina was a great friend, awesome goofball, and the life of any good gathering. It is absolutely heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to her - especially like this.
