My heartfelt sympathy to Jack's family. He spoke to my Merritt Island classes years ago about the Holocaust and was very impressive, Alan and I went to his classes at the Shepherd Center on Fridays- the only class we took although it was a long drive to attend. What a remarkable , brilliant, and kind soul. He will be sorely missed. I am only glad that I was able to know him and his sweet wife Ros! "May flight of angels bring thee to your peace" . We were fortunate to be neighbors of Jack and Ros in Cocoa Beach for many years. My parents (Dave and Greta Jones) have recently both passed away, but they also lived on the same floor as Jack and Ros and loved them dearly. My parents always spoke so highly of Jack and his many accomplishments. They enjoyed lunches out together in Cocoa Beach and in later years, when physical disabilities prevented my parents from going out to lunch, Jack and Ros would always take the time to visit with them in their condo. Jack was so energetic, so engaging. so full of life - he was an inspiration to us all. Just seeing him in the hallway (and hearing his whistling) would make your day. When Hurricane Matthew severely damaged our condos, Jack was so helpful to us all - he was a font of information regarding what we needed to do to get our condos fixed. He will be so missed at Banana Bay Condos and by all of us who were priviledged to know him. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
