Obituary of Doris Cherkasky

Doris Cherkasky Irondequoit: June 10, 2008 at age 95, surrounded by her loving family. A compassionate and kind woman, Doris devoted herself fully to her family. She was a role model to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a pillar of strength and an inspiration in her ability to love unconditionally. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Hyman; beloved son, Dr. Paul; cherished grandson, Evan Cherkasky; and son-in-law, Guido "Red" Troiano. She is survived by her children, Beverly Wolfe-Troiano, Shirley (Ted) Levy, Carol (Aubey) Dankner, Janet Cherkasky, Hedy Lynn (Richard) Dastyck; and loving daughter-in-law, Peggy Cherkasky; grandchildren, Dr. Irving Wolfe, Dr. Steven (Annmarie) Wolfe, Dr. Scott Cherkasky, Dr. Allyson Cherkasky, Michael (Diana) Levy, Shari (Paul) Rosen, Renee (Rick Beans) Dankner, Marcy (Michael) Baldassare, Bradley Dankner, Brian (Renee) Dastyck, & Michael Dastyck; great-grandchildren, Ben, Jessica, Matthew, Jacob, Arielle, Jenna, Elana, Josh, Craig, Hunter, Paige, Victoria, Alexandra, Sabrina, Sebastian, Zachary; sister-in-law, Gussie (Robert) Stabins and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 13th at 10 AM at Brighton Memorial Chapel, 3325 Winton Rd. South. Click here for directions to the funeral home. Interment Britton Road Cemetery.
