My love and condolences go to Susan and Barbie on the loss of their beloved father. As a close friend of the girls as we were growing up, I have many fond memories of "Judge Boehm." I had a particular fascination for the duck hunting paraphernalia that decorated his study. And of course his springer spaniel, Freckles, was a jolly presence in the family home. Judge Boehm was always warm and friendly to us when we were there visiting with the girls, and he gleefully played the role of cameraman at the girls' parties. His twinkling eyes and bright smile will live on in my memory. May his family find peace through their love of him.

My sincere condolences to Susan and Barbara. I have wonderful memories of Judge Boehm, before he was a Judge, being a childhood friend of Susan.Whether going to 418 Oakdale for slumber parties, carpooling to BHS games or Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties, Judge Boehm was always warm and welcoming. It was an honor to have known him. May he rest in peace.

I was saddened to learn Barbara and Susan, that your dad had died. It has been many years since I last saw him (we moved from Rochester in 79) but I remember him fondly (as well as the two of you). He was a good friend of my parents, a great judge, whom I deeply respected, and my wife Marianne and I were fortunate to have him marry us almost 38 years ago. My thoughts are with you.

Barbara, I was very saddened to learn about your dad's death. You may remember me from our days at Temple B'rith Kodesh. I always admired your dad and his accomplishments on the bench. But I also wanted to say that my folks, Jacques and Betty Ann, always loved your mom and dad, and they knew them from way back when. You probably already know that, but I just wanted to say that you and your family are in my thoughts.

In my appearances before Judge Boehm as a young lawyer, and later, I felt that I stood before a judge who was kind, who was honorable, who was knowledgeble and who stood for everything decent about the law. Such men never really leave us.

My dad, Dominic "Spike" and David were friends for many years. I remember meeting David when I was young boy. He was always kind and willing to take the time to talk with you. I followed his career as I grew older and entered law enforcement. His professional accomplishments as a judge were well deserved, but they where accomplished because "David" was such a kind, eloquent and caring person. I sought his council a few years back. As always his insightful and thoughtful advise was presented in his usual eloquent way. I take the respectful liberty of calling David a friend who will be missed and remembered. RIP my friend.

I clerked for Judge Boehm the summer of my second year of law school. As we both went to Temple Law School, Judge Boehm loved telling me about what school was like when he attended. It was a great experience learning from him. Judge Boehm always took the time to discuss his cases with me, and assign me interesting projects to work on for him. I extend my sincere condolences to the Boehm family.
