Obituary of Leonard Donald Gold

November 21, 2016 at age 89. Predeceased by wife, Lynne; parents, Sam & Bessie Gold; brothers, Irving, Sidney & Alan; sisters-in-law, Maxine & Hinda Gold & granddaughter, Michelle. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife, Elaine; daughter, Cathy (Steve) Buchman; grandchildren, Rebecca & Michael; step-daughters, Jodi (Jonathan) Roberson, Lori (Edwen) Belza, Marcie (Joel) Shapiro; step-grandchildren, David (Lauren), Alissa, Kate, Sara, Jon & Julie; sister-in-law, Karen Fernandez; brothers-in-law, Marvin (Beverly) Groden, Sanford (Et) Gaffe; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff, nurses & aides of 5NE at the Jewish Home. And also acknowledge Len's private aides, Lorrie, Debi & Wanda with a heartfelt thank you to Lifetime Care for their love, support & compassion of Len. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10 AM in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El (139 Winton Rd. S.). Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 PM at the Jewish Home and will continue on Sunday from 2-5 PM at 111 Ashley Dr. Donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or a charity of your choice in Len's memory.
