Obituary of Esther Conwell Rothberg

Esther Conwell Rothberg Passed away suddenly on November 16, 2014 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband, Abraham. She will be mourned by her son, Lewis (Shelby Nelson) Rothberg; grandchildren, Charles & Vivian, sisters, Miriam (Norman) Robbins & Jean (Joseph) Fierstein; sister-in-law, Fay Levinstein; nieces, nephews & many friends. Esther was a distinguished scientist, a member of both the National Academy of Science and the National Academy of Engineering, and a recipient of the National Medal of Science in 2010. She loved dance, cooking, exercise and playing with her grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11 AM at Temple Beth David (3200 St. Paul Blvd.).
