I KNEW BETTY AS A PARENT WHEN I TAUGHT AT # 1 SCHOOL IN THE 50'S AND LATER WHEN I MET HER THROUGH MY DAUGHTER CARLA LEVANT WHO IS A SOCIAL WORKER AT STRONG. I ALWAYS ADMIRED BETTY FOR HER QUIET STRENGTH. SHE WILL BE MISSED.

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Betty. It's probably been more than 45 years since I've seen her but my memories are vivid. To me, as a kid, Betty seemed like the ever present, caring, loving mother. May all of you find comfort in the memories that she leaves behind. With Love, Ilene

Dear Leon, Josh, Danny,Ezra and other members of the family. I am
devastated to read of Betty's death. She was a true and good aishet-ha-il and good friend. May you be comforted by memories of her "midot" and may they ease your grief, and may he who comforted King David bring solace to you among those who mourn the loss of Zion and Jerusalem. With deepest sympathy, Jake Sklover.
