Hi....I know it's been years since we last saw you and all the family. That does nt mean that warm and close feelings are gone....I'm sure I talk for my brothers as well....we sorely miss Mike/Myron. The reality that after my parents passed away, we more of less lost all contact....but that doesn't mean that the warm memories have faded...I still remember clearly being by you in Rochester...it must have been for family Simchas...I remember the boys...when they were still boys or young men....with their guitars.....and the baseball field nearby....and the aravos branches we brought back to Lawrence/Far Rockaway where we planted them in our yard...and used them for the Succos holiday with our lulavs. Warm memories that will never be erased...as are my/our warm feelings to each and every memory of the family. Wishing you all much blessing...and my you all have a good. wonderfull New Year .... and...we miss you all. Much love, Zalmie

Mike Kolko was one of the finest and nicest person that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I had dinner with Mike just about a week ago and he was his usual super self. He will be very sorely missed.

Knowing Mike was a really special pleasure and a learning experience. His warmth, caring, and knowledge of all things Jewish, American, geography, local history and more was a treat. He made me and so many others feel like family. He will be missed, but his specialness will be remembered.
