It was my honor and a privilege meeting, talking with, and spending time with Mr. Levine when he would come into the VA Rochester Outpatient Clinic. When he would tell me about his flying missions in WWII it would give me chills. As a Soldier myself I am proud to call him my brother in arms. A great person. A great veteran. The greatest generation. Rest now, we'll take it from here.

You will be missed, but never forgotten . Looking into your eyes when you spoke about your wife Lillian , was deeper than any love story ever written. To experience your smile and stories was a delight and a privilege .
Your bravery and courage was beyond belief. American history came to life when you spoke, your mind was brilliant and recall needless to say amazed me.
Your legacy are your loving sons and grandchildren , my cousins which i thank you for.
The care your sons gave you was an act of love and caring , but of course we know where they got that from.
So excited to be present for that special ceremony , of you receiving the medal of honor from France, that was big,and your smile glowed, you were so very proud and rightfully so. I was in the audience and saw how proud you and your family were. The warmth , and appreciation ,and love ,vibrated thru the room.
I had another privilege to be in a room with you, your hospital room to see you one last time and say goodby. The same smile, the same exquisite mind prevailed as you spoke to me,and you were ready , ready to meet your love again.
With these words I thank you for sharing, you will be missed, forever loved, and I will
remember.
