Obituary of Esther A. Rockowitz

Esther A. Rockowitz (Weiner) Rochester: Passed away April 8, 2009 at age 96. She was predeceased by her husband, Isadore Rockowitz. She is survived by her son, Sanford Rockowitz; long time companion, Jacob Joffee; numerous nieces and nephews. Esther was a life long resident of Rochester. She and her husband Isadore created the Rockstop Cello accessory used by musician's world wide which she continued to manufacture until her death. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 11 AM in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel at Temple Beth El, (139 Winton Rd. South, Click for a Map to Temple). Interment, Britton Road Cemetery. Following the funeral a period of mourning will be observed at 370 San Gabriel Dr. (Click for a Map to the house of Mourning) on Sunday from 3-6 PM and Monday 7-9 PM.
