Obituary of Rosalind Krebs

February 6, 2017 at age 93. Predeceased by her parents Leon & Bertha Hirsch; sister Phyllis Epstein and her beloved 19-year-old grandson, Alex Hendry. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul Krebs; daughters Jennifer (Amy Oppenheimer) Krebs & Amy Krebs; grandchildren, Talia & Adin Krebs-Oppenheimer & Max Hendry. Rosalind graduated from Hunter College. She loved to garden & collect art & was a volunteer at the Ogden-Farmers Library for more than 35 years, reading to pre-schoolers. She especially enjoyed when her former pre-schoolers brought their own pre-schoolers to her readings. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11 AM in the Benjamin Goldstein Chapel of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.). Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends back at Temple B'rith Kodesh immediately following the service until 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity in her memory.
