Obituary of Joseph H. Altman

June 5, 2018 at age 96. Predeceased by his wife, Miriam (Block) Altman & parents, Benjamin & Anna Altman. He is survived by loving children, Karen Altman & William Altman; beloved grandchildren, Julia Wolkoff, Weston and Jesse Altman; sister, Kit (Clarence) Greenwald; nieces, nephews, cousins & lifelong friends.

Joe was a proud graduate of the Boston Latin School & MIT '42. He served in World War II and worked as a research scientist at Kodak for 38 years. His family & work were the center of his life. 

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 1 PM in the sanctuary of Temple B'rith Kodesh, 2131 Elmwood Ave. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on FRIDAY from 4-6 PM and SUNDAY from 1-4 PM at 62 Greenwood Park in Pittsford.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Joe's memory.
