Florence A. Elliot Passed away April 17, 2012 at 87. Predeceased by husband, Leonard; parents, Sam & Helen Asher; step-mother, Sylvia Asher; sister, Bernice Medoff; brother, Harry Asher. Survived by her loving children, Diane (Burt Jacobson) Elliot; Wendy (John Schilb) Elliot, Joel (Lisa) Elliot, Vicki (David Levine) Elliot; grandchildren, Sam Elliot, Jeremy & Benji Levine; beloved nieces, nephews, cousins & many dear friends. Florence adored her husband of 63 years & raised 4 children, sharing with them her passion for all the arts. She relished useful work, employed from the ages of 17-87. She brought the same zest for life & great skill to homemaking, always an elegant & accomplished hostess. Creating a vibrant Jewish home, she was a longtime member of Congregations Solel & Hakafa in IL and B'rith Kodesh in Rochester. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11 AM in the All Seasons Chapel of White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd. Click here for directions to White Haven.
