I only just learned of Michael’s passing. We were friends during our years at Adelphi University where he was affectionately known as “Mondo”. He was a great guy and a friend to many. He and I even rented a motor-scooter together for one summer week! I have many memories of the “good times”.
When I came across his name under the “In Memoriam” column of an Adelphi Journal from 2014, my heart sunk. May he Rest In Peace.
