Obituary of Seymour L. Marrell

Seymour L. Merrall "Sy" Passed away on March 15, 2015 at the age of 87. Survived by his cherished wife of 65 years, Lorraine (Seskin); daughter, Suzanne Merrall-Andersen and her husband, Christian Merrall-Andersen and son, Mark Merrall; grandchildren, Adam Cohen, Matthew Cohen, Rachel Cohen & Eliza Merrall. Sy was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He served honorably with the Army of Occupation, First Cavalry Division, in Japan following World War II. For 25 years, Sy was a Vice President of Baush & Lomb. Graveside Services were held privately. The family will sit Shiva on WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY from 7 – 9 PM and FRIDAY from 1 – 3 PM at 255 Georgian Court Road in Brighton. Click here for a map to the Shiva House. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sy’s memory may be made to The Jewish Senior Life Foundation or The Strong Museum of Play, which houses and cares for a large portion of Sy’s beloved airplane collection.
