A great, kind lawyer. Burt and my father were my mentors coming out of law school. Together they showed me how to practice law as a profession. I will miss him.

Mr. Tanenbaum was just the kindest man to work for. Along with everyone else at Culley Marks, I respected his professionalism and wisdom. His subtle sense of humor was a distinct benefit of being his secretary and his long suffering patience will never be forgotten. His love and enjoyment of his family was obviously the focus of his life. It was very hard to leave his employ because of family difficulties and I will always remember and be grateful for his understanding.

Mr. Tanenbaum was my boss at his law firm, Culley, Marks, et al. from 1984- 1989. His patience, kindness, humor, intelligence and integrity were fully known to and respected by me. I was honored to work for him. He was a ray of sun and optimism in an often dark world. You were blessed to have him as husband and father.

Millie you and Burt was such some special friends. It was such a honor to care for such wonderful people. Your friendship and great smile will be missed. Millie and family - there are no words to express how sad we are for you and ourselves. Burt was not only our attorney but a very dear friend. He always seemed to know what to say and how to say it. He and Tony shared many, many great talks throughout the years at the hair salon and was always there for us with wonderful fatherly advise. God has taken one of the great ones. A period of mourning will be observed at 33 Tobey Brook in Pittsford, Sunday, 3-5 & 7-9 PM, Monday, 2-5 PM and Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Service Info

A Funeral Service was held privately in the Rabbi Abraham Solomon Chapel of Temple Beth El.

Temple Beth El Section (Range 9) of Mt. Hope Cemetery
