I was lucky enough to have Leonard come to me for his physical therapy after his heart surgery. He was the one person on my schedule that I always looked forward to seeing. No matter how rough a day I had i could always count on his smile, humor, and the stories to set things right. He wondered why he got stuck with me and not my co-worker Deanna. We told him it was because his insurance wasn't good enough, which made him laugh. I should've given him money for the time we spent. He told me about his family, friends, work, as well as his extensive travels about the world. He was a natural fit in our clinic as he joked and spoke of his ice hockey and baseball days. He was a classic. I'll miss him and I know the world is just a bit less warm without him.
