Dear Jeff,
I remember your Mom's cooking, even though I was never lucky enough to meet her. I so looked forward to Amateur Hours on Sundays to eat her unique Pu Pu Platter. I lost my Mom on the same day as you lost yours. It is not easy, but both of us were so lucky to have had our Moms for so long and now both are with their beloved husbands. I know that my Dad (Morrie Silver the mailman) is being chewed out by my Mom and loving it :) The image makes me smile. I know that you must have memories or thoughts similar to that that will help you through this horrible time for us. May both our Moms rest in peace! May you have an easy mourning period, if that is possible.
